The Impacts of Dialogic Interaction to Engage Students in Peer Assessment

The beneficial impacts of peer assessment to improve students’ writing have been frequently reported. While engagement in the process has highlighted as a critical factor enhance learning, few studies reported how engage students. Although interaction advocated let students participate it was found that previous only provided very limited opportunities for directly interact with each other. In this case study, 153 pre-service teachers were engaged group-based online reciprocal learning activity their academic skills. A core component dialogic purposively implemented foster process. Results suggest while considered quite complicated and they needed more training, seriously quality also improved. appreciated interactive feature satisfied instructional methods. This study highlights importance using engagement.
